Golden Milk Turmeric Latte Recipe
Ingredients:
1 cup of unsweetened almond or coconut milk
1 teaspoon of turmeric powder
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of ginger powder
1 tablespoon of honey (or more, to taste)
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper (optional)
1/2 cup of hot water
Instructions:
In a small saucepan, heat the almond or coconut milk, turmeric, cinnamon, ginger powder, honey, vanilla extract and black pepper (if using) over medium heat. Stir constantly until the mixture is well combined and heated through, about 5 minutes.
Add the hot water to the mixture and continue to stir until well blended.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and pour the mixture into a blender. Blend for about 30 seconds or until the mixture is smooth and frothy.
