SALAD JARS

Salad Jar Recipe:

Ingredients:

  • Mixed greens (spinach, arugula, kale, lettuce, etc.)

  • Protein of your choice (chicken, tofu, chickpeas, etc.)

  • Vegetables (tomatoes, bell peppers, cucumbers, carrots, etc.)

  • Optional toppings (nuts, seeds, cheese, etc.)

  • Dressing of your choice

Instructions:

  1. Begin by prepping all of your ingredients. Wash and chop the greens, vegetables, and protein.

  2. Start assembling the salad jars. Begin by adding the dressing to the bottom of the jar.

  3. Add the protein on top of the dressing.

  4. Layer the vegetables on top of the protein.

  5. Finally, add the mixed greens on top of the vegetables.

  6. If adding toppings, sprinkle them on top of the greens.

  7. Seal the jars and store them in the refrigerator until ready to eat.
