CARDAMON TEA CAKE
We created a recipe for a healthy cardamom tea cake that is easy to make and packed with flavor. Cardamom is a spice that has been used for centuries in traditional medicine to help improve mental health, among other things. Ingredients:
1 cup of all-purpose flour
1/2 cup of almond flour
1/2 cup of coconut sugar
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1/2 teaspoon of baking soda

1/4 teaspoon of sea salt
1/2 cup of unsweetened almond milk
1/2 cup of unsweetened applesauce
1/4 cup of coconut oil, melted
1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
Instructions:
Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9-inch cake pan with coconut oil.
In a large bowl, mix together the all-purpose flour, almond flour, coconut sugar, baking powder, baking soda, ground cardamom, and sea salt until well combined.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the almond milk, applesauce, melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and apple cider vinegar until smooth.
Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
Let the cake cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
